NEW THIS SCHOOL YEAR:
Please note that due to HIPPA and FERPA laws we will not be sending out any illness letters to individual classrooms. If your child is not feeling well it is best to have him/her seen by your health care provider.
You can always assume that we have many illnesses here at school (especially strep throat, chickenpox, Fifths Disease, conjunctivitis and lice).
The nurse is available for emergency health problems and first aid during the school day.
The nurse administers a hearing screening to all students in grades 1, 3, and 5. A distance vision screening is offered to students in grades 1, 2, 3, and 5. Parent/Guardians will be notified via phone/mail if there are any abnormalities noted during any of the screenings.
Scoliosis Screening is mandated for those students in grade 5 who have not been checked by their private physician.
